Savotta is a day-care centre for 80 children. The need to integrate a large building into a residential milieu gave the impetus for the building's wedge-shaped mass, the lower end forming a part of the streetscape. The dark colouring of the facade matches the surrounding vegetation, and makes the building appear smaller. The interiors are characterised by transparency. Loadbearing concrete walls were cast in place and rough surfaces were left exposed.
