Since 1999 almost all interior restoration and modification plans of the Finlandia-hall have been designed by Talli. The Building is originally designed by Alvar Aalto and completed in two phases in 1971 and 1975.The baseline for these designs has been the improvement of the buildings spacial and technical functionality and the refurbishing of the worn out spaces to fuse in with the original architecture. The original materials have been preserved if possible and replaced only when absolutely necessary.

In 1993 the Finlandia-hall was put under a building preservation order. In 2006 Talli architects made a construction history report, on which all renovation plans are based.
