Lyhty house is a home and musicschool for disabled people. It contains several group homes, designed to house nine residents each, common spaces and educational facilities. The group homes open to spacious common facilities and to the outdoors through large windows. The building´s interior materials are chosen to withstand knocks and bumps without the need for constant repairs, due to the specific inhabitants. The walls are fair-faced concrete and the floors solid timber.
