Talli has been granted an EcoCompass Certificate

EcoCompass is an environmental management system (EMS) based on the international ISO 14001 Standard, which helps organisations identify and tackle their environmental impact in their own field of expertise.

EcoCompass management system starts at surveying the current status of the environmental management and identifying the most significant environmental impacts. Based on these the organization will set the objectives for reducing the impact. EcoCompass Certificate will be awarded after the organisation has established the management system and passed the audit by EcoCompass auditors.

Talli’s environmental strategy is based on the understanding that our most significant environmental impact arises from the building site, and our most relevant measure to combat this is sustainable design.

Our environmental strategy is based on communicating, effecting change, and gathering and distributing information about ecologically sustainable materials. We aim to integrate the evaluation of environmental impact into our design process, making use of what we learned from earlier projects.

This, however, is not the end of our environmental efforts. We will update our environmental programme and report on the outcomes regularly. Most of all we want to intergrate environmental aspects into our daily work and commit to designing ecologically, socially, economically, and culturally sustainable built environment. We believe this creates architecture that will stand the test of time and add value to its users.
